Chris Coltrane is a comedian, activist, writer, disco dancer and sweet romancer.
Chris has been doing stand-up for five years. He started off weird and surreal; nowadays he’s weird and political. He tells tales of protests and mischief, and trying to smash the Tories with punchlines.
Recent gigs include the Alternative Comedy Memorial Society, Josie Long’s LTOTBH, and for a change of pace, Bec Hill’s Pun Run. In 2013 he did Glastonbury on Billy Bragg’s Leftfield tent, as well as End Of The Road festival. He has taken two solo shows to the Edinburgh Festival.
Chris runs a political comedy club in Camden called Lolitics and are delighted to welcome him as MC at Bear Funny.

A talented and energetic performer with an arsenal of impersonations, Johnny is a dynamic stand-up comedian. Johnny began performing stand-up in Australia and is now based in the UK. Johnny performs in all major comedy clubs across the UK and also performs regularly across continental Europe. In his first year of comedy in 2002 he made the JJJ radio stand-up state finals for RAW comedy.
He was awarded first prize in two national comedy competitions in Australia – So You Think
You’re Funny? and Angling for a Laugh, which sent him to perform in New York City.
